What makes De Groene Boomhut different from other childcare locations?
We believe in small-scale, where every child is truly seen and heard. Our locations are close to nature, where children play outside every day and discover nature. In addition, we attach great value to open and accessible contact with parents.
How can I register my child for daycare?
You can easily register via our online registration form . After your registration we will contact you for a tour.
What do I need to arrange if I am pregnant and want to arrange childcare?
On our special Pregnant page you will find all the steps you can take if you are pregnant and want to arrange childcare. We recommend registering early to ensure a place.
What is included in day care for children aged 0-4 years?
Our daycare includes diapers, healthy meals, fruit, drinks and snacks (no bottle feeding). We offer daily pedagogically responsible activities and ensure that your child develops at his or her own pace.
Do the children go outside every day?
Yes, we go outside every day. Children can discover nature, play outside and enjoy fresh air. This contributes to their physical and mental development.
What are the opening hours?
Our BSO is open after school until 18:30 in Veldhoven and 18:00 in Best. During holidays we are open from 7:30.
The day care centre is open from Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm in Eindhoven and Veldhoven, and until 6:00 pm in Best.
What are the rates of De Groene Boomhut?
You can easily calculate your costs on our rates page .
How does childcare allowance work?
You can apply for childcare allowance via the Tax Authorities. The amount you get back depends on your income and the number of hours of childcare you use.
What is the parent app and what can I do with it?
Through our parent app you can receive daily photos and updates on how your child's day is going. You can also send messages to staff and read important announcements.
What should I bring on the first day of daycare?
For the first day we ask parents to bring a few things, such as extra clothing, any specific food and a favourite cuddly toy. After registration you will receive a preparation form with all the necessary information.

Easter Monday: Monday April 1, 2024
Ascension Day: Thursday, May 9, 2024
Pentecost: Monday, May 20, 2024
Christmas closing: December 23rd to December 27th
How can I cancel my contract?
At De Groene Boomhut a notice period of 1 month applies. You must always cancel the contract before the 5th of the month, so that we can process this.
Example:
If you want to stop on September 1st, you must inform us in writing that you want to cancel before August 5th. Cancellations after the 5th of the month will not be processed until the following month.
